I am passionate about programming because there isn’t always an off-the-shelf solution for a business problem, and I have knowledge and power to make life better in those situations.
I started writing software on punch card mainframe systems, including wire board programming of sorters and assembly and as the hardware and languages evolved, I evolved with them. It’s been a fun journey.
When not playing with computers and software, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Peggy, and my grown kids. I look forward to having no more vet bills for my beloved dogs when one of my daughters completes her veterinary training.
