After graduating from the University of South Carolina with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a MBA, I started my career in a health care facility assisting with insurance filing before joining a large manufacturer making lawn mowers as a customer service team member and then a product manager for a line of business. I moved from that manufacturing environment to an international distribution company specializing in products for racing horses and camels from US companies to international customers (oh, the stories to tell …). This is where I learned so much about warehousing.
Just before Y2K, I became concerned that the world would end and my homegrown sales, inventory, and accounting system that was written and supported by one person was surely going to stop working (it didn’t). I began a search for a new ERP system and found ASI and Sage 100. I purchased Sage 100 (MAS90 at the time) from ASI, and we got the product implemented over time. I enjoyed the product and the report writing and data exports so much that I joined ASI in 2005.
All these years later, I still enjoy the same aspects of Sage 100 that I did then. I get to help and amaze our customers with getting their critical data into and out of Sage 100 efficiently and effectively. I know enough about accounting and payroll to help customers when needed.
When not being a ninja at work, I am a husband and a dad to two awesome kids. I enjoy church, family, friends, golf, water skiing, boating, and pulling for my Gamecocks.
