Many Sage 100 ERP (formerly Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200) users have a strong relationship with UPS and/or Fed Ex, and as a result have negotiated very low rates with either carrier. Worldship and Ship Manager are both ODBC compliant software products with the ability to read data directly from Sage 100 ERP and populate their respective shipping screens. In addition, Worldship and Ship Manager have the ability to export the shipping data to an export file after processing a shipment.
Once the data has been exported, ASI’s Shipping Integration addition will read the export file and write the data back to Sage 100 ERP. This can be performed in real-time or in batches. The user is able to assign the fields in Sage 100 ERP where the tracking ID, weight, freight amount and ship via data are imported in from the shipping software.
You’ll no longer have to enter tracking numbers one-by-one. Instead, the program will match tracking numbers to the correct invoice. You can process shipments from Sales Order Entry, Shipping Data Entry or Sales Order Invoice Data Entry.
